Music to Train By - Silversun Pickups "Swoon"

Silversun Pickups is a 4 piece band from California. I'd say they have a sound that's a mix of Smashing Pumpkins, My Bloody Valentine, and Sonic Youth. I've been waiting for this album to come out ever since SSPU released their stellar debut, Carnavas, two years ago.

Swoon has only been officially available for a couple of hours now, but so far I am extremely happy with how it turned out. They have a knack for writing songs that start simple and gradually add tension and energy throughout.
