2X Mitchell

Just checked the weather, and it looks like it should be great. Just hot and humid...

Had to put a new tire on my mtn bike this weekend after finding a massive slit in the side wall. Better now then 33miles into the ride next Saturday. The following is an excerpt from my conversation with the manager at the bike shop on Saturday.

"Yeah so I am glad I saw this today and not any later. I have a big ride next weekend. "

"Oh yeah, where you going?"

"Well its a little crazy, maybe even stupid. My uncle and I are doing the off road assault on mount mitchell on Saturday and then the on road version on Sunday."

"Wow...(pause, pause, wait for it) that is stupid..." Laughter from everyone in the back of shop.

"Unsupported too."

"Whoa..."
