Mount Mitchell

With the May event already behind us we can start looking towards June. June will be a little bit different. We are not competing in 'race' but taking two huge endurance events in one weekend of suffering, the Assault on Mount Mitchell via road bike, and then the Off Road Assault via mountain bike.

Mount Mitchell is the tallest peak east of the Mississippi. Bobby and I decided one day last August to ride up it, and it was grand fun. To make it a little more interesting we decided to add the off road portion.
