I took the tri bike out for its first spin of the season tonight. It was really different. The position is much more aggressive than a regular road bike, and the handling is not nearly as responsive. Tri bikes were meant to aim and fire. I took a turn coming down a hill, and to be completely honest thought I was in deep. I managed to get my knee out far enough that I made the turn, and when I looked down at my speedometer I was carrying 27 mph into the turns. It was a good ride though, that included some nice climbs, and some hammer sessions on the aero bars.
Tomorrow the weather is supposed to turn back to winter-ish. I'll be in the pool and running after work.
Carry on,
